Ricketts in hamstring blow for Fleet

Ebbsfleet United physio Paul Wilson brings us news from the treatment room…

Mark Ricketts is likely to be out of action for a couple of weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury that he picked up in the Kent Senior Cup win over Ramsgate on Tuesday. The Fleet defender has only just come back from a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.

There was more positive news about long-term absentee Gary MacDonald who has spent the last week at Lilleshall where he underwent strength tests and some very intense rehab. His achilles is getting stronger each day and he was even able to join in with the rest of the team for an exercise this week.
