John Akinde and Luke Coleman head for the Kent coast in a loan deal with Margate.
Fleet strikers John Akinde and Luke Coleman have joined Margate on loan
with a view to gaining more first-team experience. The youth team
graduates, who were promoted to the first-team squad in the summer,
will move to Hartsdown Park as part of an open-ended arrangement
between the two Kent clubs with no definite loan period stated, but
with the Fleet able to recall the players within 24 hours after the
initial loan month has been completed as is usual with most loan deals. Both Akinde and Coleman played for Margate in a recent pre-season friendly, alongside former Fleet midfielder Rob Owen.
