Following the thrashing of Grays on New Year’s Day, there was a palpable sense of excitement hanging around Stonebridge Road this afternoon and in their current form, the Fleet are not in a mood to disappoint. With Chukki Eribenne returning to the starting line-up following the recent death of his father, Luke Moore was dropped back into midfield to make up for the gap left by the injured Chris McPhee.

And far from resting on their laurels, the home side barely paused from their demolition of Grays before catching Weymouth out inside two minutes.
