Ebbsfleet United is pleased to announce that Liam Daish and club secretary Peter Danzey this morning received a phone call from the FA calling Preston Edwards into the England ‘C’ squad for the game v. Portugal U23 in the International Challenge Trophy Final being held at Northampton Town’s Sixfields stadium on Thursday (19 May).
Preston is naturally delighted, as is the club for him as due recognition of his performances this season for the Fleet.
Having overcome the holders Belgium at the semi-final stage in February, Paul Fairclough’s side now face the Portuguese at Northampton Town with silverware up for grabs.
The Three Lions now prepare themselves for the showdown on Thursday 19 May at
