Drain disaster at Stonebridge Road

The club announced this morning that following a collapse in the main drainage system at Stonebridge Road, there will be no toilet facilities for the remaining two home matches against Eastbourne Borough and Dorchester.

Club maintenance manager Chris Pilkinton said, “This is obviously an unsatisfactory situation; however, we have acted quickly to introduce our new ‘loan a loo’ scheme.

“Fourteen local residents have kindly agreed to allow use of their toilet facilities for these two home matches. On arrival at the ground all supporters will be handed a list of the addresses of the 14 properties.

“We hope by taking this speedy action this will keep any inconvenience to a minimum.”
