Dave Archer will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer at Ebbsfleet United effective from today (Thursday).
Having been managing director at the club for almost a year to oversee EUFC’s financial restructuring, Dave will now step into the CEO role and continue his ongoing management of the club’s operations.
“This changes very little for me in terms of my day-to-day activities at the Fleet,” Dave told the club website. “Together with the staff at the club and the owner, we have completed the financial overhaul that we were tasked with last November.
“The new CEO title is in effect little more than a name change and now that the strategic outlook and financial revisions are complete, I am keen to begin the process of taking the club through this season and beyond, and helping it prosper. As ever, I thank Fleet fans for their support through the ups and downs and I welcome the opportunity to continue to steer the club as a responsible and sustainable model going forward.”
