Danny Searle has been named February’s Vanarama Manger of the Month following an unbeaten run throughout the month during which time the Fleet picked up 11 points courtesy of three wins and two draws.
Searle, who was interim manager for the first game of February and appointed permanent manager ahead of his first win as boss against Eastleigh, also earned maximum points from victories over Woking and Dorking Wanderers while gaining draws against leaders Chesterfield and play-off contenders Oldham Athletic.
Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Danny on his achievements in a hugely successful first month at Ebbsfleet United. The Fleet boss credited the award to the club’s entire staff and volunteers (pictured below) who have been right behind the management and players as the team looks to climb the table through March and April.
The Vanarama National League said, “It’s all about impact at this time of the season and there’s little doubt our winners have really left their mark after some big changes were made. It’s a far cry from how the Fleet ended January – defeat to bottom side Oxford City – and even if Manager of the Month Searle is quick to stress there’s still so much hard work ahead, he won’t play down their fine form.”
