Daish adds Elder statesman to forward line

Liam Daish has signed his second striker with the news that 27-year-old Nathan Elder has joined Ebbsfleet United.

After a promising start to his career with Aveley, 6ft 3in Elder had a blistering spell with Billericay scoring 36 goals in 26 appearances and soon moved into the Football League with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Appearances with Brentford, Shrewsbury and AFC Wimbledon (on loan) followed but he left the Shrews for Hayes & Yeading in the summer of 2011. After a month he bounced back into the Football League with Hereford United, and briefly signed with Scunthorpe United earlier this year.

Nathan is a vastly experienced player He can cause defences problems with his size and strength and he is a locally based lad which is a bonus for the football club.
