FLEET MAKE DEFENDER DARIUS CHARLES’ MOVE FROM BRENTFORD A PERMANENT DEAL….
MyFootballClub members have overwhelmingly ratified the proposal
for Ebbsfleet United to sign Darius Charles from Brentford on a
permanent basis.
In a 48-hour vote, more than 3,000 members gave the thumbs-up to
the deal with a massive 91.6% of the vote. Charles, 21, arrived at
Stonebridge Road at the end of last season on loan and a second
loan deal, to the end of this season, was agreed with Brentford in
the summer. The popular central defender has played 34 games for
the Fleet and will sign a contract until the end of the 2009/10
season in a deal worth
