Cards drawn in Cup

Ebbsfleet United will meet Woking in the Fourth Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup for the third time in 11 years.

Garry Hill’s old side come to the Kuflink Stadium on 19th October just a month after the two clubs shared a 2-2 draw at Kingfield in the National League.

We also played out a 2-2 draw at Kingfield in the FA Cup back in 2008/09, Fleet winning the replay 1-0 to earn a tie at Crewe Alexandra. And then again at Kingfield in 2012/13, Moses Ashikodi’s late strike took us through to a Round One tie at Carlisle United.

In addition to those two FA Cup meetings, the Fleet and Cards have met twice in the FA Trophy. We won the last tie after a replay when Garry Hill was in charge of Woking in 2016/17, while in 1977/78 Fleet again prevailed after a replay.

Prize money for a win in this round is ยฃ18,750 with the losers receiving ยฃ6,250. That rises to ยฃ36,000 for the winners in Round One.
