Brown brings in Brandon

Ebbsfleet United today completed the signing of 20-year-old goalkeeper Brandon Hall, who joins having played the second half of the Fleet’s opening friendly against Thamesmead Town.

The young Lewisham-born shot stopper, who grew up in Gillingham, came through Charlton Athletic’s youth system and was a regular in the Addicks’ U18 side. On his release from The Valley in the summer of 2011 he moved to the Nike Academy, from where he was signed by St Mirren. After six months in Scotland, Brandon was snapped up by Hayes & Yeading United in September 2012. At Hayes, he went on to play 24 times in Conference South, dislodging first-choice keeper James Beasant.

The 6ft 1in goalkeeper is already familiar with one member of his new defence, having played in the same Hayes side as Osei Sankofa last season.
