Ebbsfleet United’s opening fixture of the 2012-13 season will be away at Nuneaton Town after the Blue Square Bet Premier Division fixtures were released to clubs this morning.
After two successive seasons of home games on opening day, Fleet’s trip to Nuneaton’s Liberty Way on August 11 will be their first, having last faced the club’s previous entity, Nuneaton Borough, at their former ground Manor Way in 2002 .
The first home game of the season is on a Tuesday night, August 14 against Braintree, with Wrexham being the first Saturday visitors on August 18.
The big derbies against Dartford come on Boxing Day (at Princes Park) and New Year’s Day (at Stonebridge Road). The season concludes on April 20, 2013 at Gateshead. Other games of note include Luton at home on Bank Holiday Monday, a relatively local trip to Woking on February 12 and the return of Ricky Shakes with Kidderminster on March 2.
Other dates in your diary should include the FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round on October 20 and the FA Trophy Round 1 on November 24.
