We should get a result, I predict 3-2; wouldn't be the Fleet at home without a bit of squeeky bum would it ?. We will go 3-0 up and then they will score two in the last ten minutes. :)
Crowd will be about 900. The glory hunters won't be back this season, unless we get in the play off's. ;D

Can't make Saturday (working) or next Tuesday (golf tour of Dorset). Hope I'm not considered a fair weather home fan!

Some mighty Fleet "glory hunters" might even give SbR a miss on Saturday in order to witness Herne Bay's ongoing FA Vase exploits in their semi-final first leg match against West Auckland Town. Have they no shame?

"I have written about HM Revenue and Custom's royal hump with football...."

Yeah, imagine HMRC going to court to demand clubs pay them the money they're owed, it's a disgrace.

Kettering isn't too far away so may be a few of their supporters will come to SBR.

The weather forecast is encouraging.

I would quite like it if we attacked the Plough End in the first half as I enjoy standing in the sun at the Swanscombe End in the second half.
It is not as good the other way round though!

Or maybe not ?

From the Kettering Forum:-

"Why would anybody want to spend any time at all in a shit hole like Gravesend. The place is a dump and I can vouch for that. I recently had the misfortune to work near there in Chatham. Just my opinion of course"

I think this was in response to the arrangements for coach travel which was a 10am start with lunchtime spent in Gravesend. Not too sure if the correspondent had actually been to Gravesend or if he just based his opinion on his time in Chatham ?

I went to the away game at Kettering and even though 3/4 of the ground was empty they squeezed us into a small corner with a very poor view.

Still such poor hospitality by them won't be reciprocated by us. They will have just as good a view as we will.
Hopefully of the ball going into their net on a regular basis
