Following Tuesday night’s abandonment of the match at the Aspect Arena, the club has lodged an appeal to the Football Association against the decision of the Conference Board to order the match be replayed as a 90-minute game starting from 0-0. At the time of the abandonment, Ebbsfleet United were leading 2-0.
Vice Chairman Peter Varney said, “We have outlined the circumstances as we see it of the events of Tuesday evening and set out our case to the Football Association.
“Other than that this is not an appropriate time to make any further comment until a hearing has taken place.”
